Painting:
Sandy paints in acrylics, oil and watercolour, but also enjoys using pencil and pen and ink.
Her favourite subjects are animals and birds, including most wildlife, domestic and farm animals, chickens and birds, but she also produces the occasional still life.
Sandy trained for three years in a printer's graphics studio and discovered that the more she practised her drawing, the better it became. As a member of the Wildlife Art Society, she won a Bronze Award at a regional exibition held at Paignton Zoo and Haddon Galleries with "Two's company, three's a crowd", featuring three Macaws.
Sandy is also the joint organiser of the very successful Chew Valley Arts Trail at which she exibits her work.
